Helmut works as an orderly at the hospital which Malcolm is admitted to for his supposed appendicitis. Helmut is a very scary and intimidating presence during Malcolm's traumatic experience at the hospital. He is seen dragging what looks like a dead body through the building, forces pills in Malcolm's mouth, and holds him down so that an obviously terrified med student can hook him up to an I.V. Helmut shows little regard for keeping patients feeling safe, instead serving as an evil henchman-type person for Dr. Harrison. He also dislikes people biting down on his hand when he holds them down.
